Summer reading round-up!
Any time is a good time to read a book! But there are few times better than on a hot summer afternoon, relaxing with a book and a cold, iced drink. I’ve been a busy reader this summer! Well, compared to my reading record lately.
One of my goals for this more intentional, more relaxed summer is to read more books. I’m currently finishing up the Narnia anthology that I purchased a few years ago. So far this summer I have read Prince Caspian, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, and The Silver Chair. One more book to go and I have finished the collection!!
Sound like fun? Want to read more this Summer? (Yes, you do, you know you do.) 😉
Okey dokey, then. Fortunately for you, I have a round up of summer reading posts. How convenient.

Some of Our Favorites
What are some of our favorite books around here? We have quite a few.
The Narnia books (of course.)
Catie loves the Percy Jackson books. Arielle is currently devouring the Harry Potter series, and Buddy is reading The Hobbit.
We also really like the How to Train Your Dragon Series (NOTHING like the movie!,) and the Little House Series. (Quite opposites!)
A few not-as-well-known books that we like are Bunnicula and Gustav Gloom. We’re also adding the “book and movie” approach to our reading… reading a book and then having a movie night to watch the movie.
That should be more than enough to help you and your kids find something to read this summer. Happy Reading!!
