In my life this week…

This has been an… interesting… week to say the least. It began with a blessing, followed by a crisis, followed by a flood of grace and forgiveness, followed by frustration, followed by grief, and today we seek peace. God has taught me many lessons this week, not the least of which is giving me perspective on Monday, in the middle of what I felt was “the worst” day. Yesterday a friend of the family lost his battle with cancer but won a welcome in Heaven. Today we mourn with our friends and pray peace and comfort over them.

In our homeschool this week…

Homeschool has also been interesting. We were supposed to finish up science and double up on math everyday. (Supposed to, but didn’t.) In other news, my lesson planner for next year arrived. =)

Hey, y’all! I’m Amber and I wear many hats. I drink a ton of coffee and I’m constantly sweeping crumbs off the floor. After 18 years of homeschooling, I’m getting close to graduating my third child and now we are starting over at preschool with our fourth, Lil Miss Mouse. She keeps us young and she’s the main reason for my excessive coffee consumption. Drink up!
