So the tree is down and the ornaments are packed away. As I packed them up (organized by color, ahem) I counted and tallied and added and figured up the grand total.
You could almost sing this to the tune of “12 Days of Christmas”:
- 37 clear
- 31 silver
- 31 gold
- 29 red
- 20 paper (including the adornaments)
- 17 blue
- 14 white
- 11 purple
- 10 pink
- 9 wood
- 6 green
- 4 multi-colored (nativity scenes)
- and 2 porcelain ballerinas (Christmas Eve gifts from a close friend for the girls – couldn’t NOT let them hang them!)
THE TOTAL: 221

Clearly, y’all underestimate my love for Christmas ornaments. And that’s NOT including the ornaments tucked inside my garland on the piano or the basket of ornaments serving as a centerpiece on my dining table. 😉
