Books, books, books! I love the smell of a new book (I do.) We already have many of our new books for the new year, even though we’re not quite ready for most of them yet. I hope to pick up a few more things at the Teach Them Diligently Marketplace in a couple of weeks. (Update!! Sadly, the Marketplace has been cancelled due to low pre-registrations. They do, however, have their Marketplace Online store up and running!)
As usual, we do most of our stuff together as a group. As Catie grows older, she needs to do more work independently and with increasing challenge so that’s a goal for this year.

We’ve begun organizing our existing books into our new school space and I can’t wait to get the rest and finish all the organization that needs to be done. Also, it’s much easier to get ready for the new year now that we have found so many things that we love! What’s on your list?
Looks like a good year ahead Amber! I’ve pinned and I’m linking up if it’s still open 🙂
We’re still finishing up Zoology 3 as well, almost done. Almost…… I may skip that last chapter about arachnids and scorpions……
Oh come on.. you aren’t looking forward to that chapter?? 😉
Skipping scorpions? Noooooo! That’s the coolest part, Mom!
It looks like a great year! I like your choices. We will be starting MOH 1 this year. I can’t wait.
Why are you thinking Life of Fred for Algebra?
Enjoyed reading through your selections. I’m going to check out the typing program…we really need to go through one.
