Submission is a topic that is hard to address in a short little Marriage Minute. I do know this, though. Submission isn’t supposed to be ugly and oppressive. It’s supposed to be beautiful and loving. Through submission and love toward each other in marriage, we are supposed to see a picture of God’s love for the church and our submission in love to Him.

Yesterday, I stumbled upon a wonderful series of posts on submission, leadership, and marriage by Susan Evans. Start with the first one, “How My Husband Shepherd’s Me, Part 1” and read at least through “Wild Submission.” Susan’s series of posts addresses marriage and submission more eloquently than I could hope to, and more successfully than I could in one minute. 🙂 You’ll enjoy them!

Hey, y’all! I’m Amber and I wear many hats. I drink a ton of coffee and I’m constantly sweeping crumbs off the floor. After 18 years of homeschooling, I’m getting close to graduating my third child and now we are starting over at preschool with our fourth, Lil Miss Mouse. She keeps us young and she’s the main reason for my excessive coffee consumption. Drink up!
