A much better week than last week! There’s some good stuff in here for you, too…
In my life this week…
I felt pretty productive this week, got a good amount of stuff done, worked on some habits. It’s been a good week! Tuesday evening we had a good ladies’ bible study and I’m really enjoying growing with the ladies’ at church. Thursday, Princess had another orthodontist appointment — she’s nearly done with her braces journey. They did some minor tweaks and said that maybe next time they won’t have anything left to change. (Still still have them a few more months while her teeth settle into their final positions.)
In our homeschool this week…
We are still finishing up science and doubling up on math. We’ve done really well with that this week. The funniest thing was how Little Prince tried to blame his “blind spot” when he spilled milk while pouring a glass (after learning about blind spots in science, which each eye has but not while both eyes are open!) We didn’t laugh then, and we didn’t let him fool us, but we snickered about it quite a bit after he left the room. He’s clever, that one, we’re going to have to keep an eye on him!

Have fun! (Did you see that post?)
My favorite thing this week was…
I’ve decided to start eating healthy and working out again, to lose weight. I don’t know if that should be a “favorite” or not, but it is honest. I’m overweight. I am. Overweight. By quite a bit. And I need to change that. (I’ve also joined My Fitness Pal online to try to help me with this..)
What’s working/not working for us…
Dry erase boards – working. Love them.
Things I’m working on…
My ebook is almost finished!
Planning for the new year. Going to have to get serious about ordering books soon.
Habits. Good ones.
I’m reading…
One Simple Act, Chapter 15
Surrender, Chapter 1
Jeremiah
I’m cooking…
Nothing special this week..
I’m grateful for…
Growth, restoration, wisdom, peace,… God’s been doing some good things in my heart, marriage, family this week.

Very welcome!!
I can relate to the overweight issue. We began karate as a family, and I am hoping this coupled with better portion control will help me begin my weight loss journey. Good luck to you.
I took karate in high school and loved it! It’s a great workout!
I’m on MyFitnessPal too! It really does help (even though I loathe recording everything I eat)! I’ve lost 34 pounds since joining. I have a bunch to go still…You CAN do it!
Congrats to YOU! I do better when I track my food — I’m going to be honest with my food journal, and I don’t want to have to write down an extra helping, so I don’t EAT an extra helping. =p Plus, I pay more attention to my food when I’m tracking it. I’m mrsamberoliver if you want to find me (you can do that, right?) You don’t have to, if you don’t want to.
I’m working on that eat healthy and exercise thing, too. I’m with you: it’s just time.
It is. It’s just time. Sigh.
I’m so there with you!
I need to brush up on some good habbits! I feel guilty as I read you post while eating a chocolate dipped granola bar! Should have grabbed a plain one! We all need to do some kind of accountability blog hop!
I did that once before! I did a weekly series called Battle the Bulge. (I lost like, TEN POUNDS.) Pft. =p
