If you’re on Facebook, Classic Housewife now has a Facebook Fan Page! What does this mean for you?

It means that if you become a Fan, Classic Housewife basically becomes your friend and whenever updates or photos are posted they’ll show up in your news feed just like all your other friends. But don’t worry, I’m a busy mom! I’m not going to be flooding your news feed with tons of updates! I do think, however, that it will be a neat way to share pictures or videos without them disappearing as quickly as they do on the blog. Fans can also post comments and participate in discussions which I’m really looking forward to.

It also means that whenever I write a new post here, Networked Blogs will pick up the new post and automatically share it on the Classic Housewife Fan page. That will show up in your news feed, too – making it really easy to get blog updates if you’re a regular Facebooker but not so regular at checking your feed readers. (Guilty!)

(And while we’re talking about Networked Blogs, you can follow my blog on there, too – It doesn’t really do anything for you, you won’t get any extra updates or requests, but it does build the credibility of my blog with Networked Blogs and in theory, helps others find my blog.)

Doesn’t this sound fun? Click here, become a Facebook fan! If it doesn’t work, let me know, I’ll try to help you figure it out. Also, you can click on the badge at the bottom of this page to get there. After you become a fan, you have an opportunity to share the Fan page with others, on the bottom left-hand side of the page. That’s not required, but that would be awesome! See you on Facebook!

Hey, y’all! I’m Amber and I wear many hats. I drink a ton of coffee and I’m constantly sweeping crumbs off the floor. After 18 years of homeschooling, I’m getting close to graduating my third child and now we are starting over at preschool with our fourth, Lil Miss Mouse. She keeps us young and she’s the main reason for my excessive coffee consumption. Drink up!
