It is usually advisable, if one is going to be giving advice, to be following your own advice that you are in the process of giving – right?
I. have. been. so. busy!
I have several unfinished drafts that I’d intended to post this week; I’d intended to introduce at least one, new regular feature this week; and I was even tempted to give in and host an impromptu “What’s Under Your Couch Cushions?” linky inspired by a Twitter conversation with Kristen and Jeni.
I know, the internet will just not be the same without that one.
Instead, I’ve created a new email address (amber{at}classichousewife{dot}com); I’ve created sidebar graphics with some “grab this” code boxes; I made those available on my About Me page; I added one to my own sidebar; I changed my Twitter name so it doesn’t reference my old blog anymore; and I’ve changed the email and Twitter addresses on all various email and bloggy locations.
Everything matches.
And I’ve got this new set of post-it themed graphics that I just love (and really, my love of office supplies makes that quite appropriate.) I’m half-tempted to slightly redo my banner to match. Maybe…
So maybe I didn’t launch any super-neat carnivals or monthly features this week. There’s always next week, right?
And besides. Did I mention everything matches now?
I like matching.
I like matching too! 🙂
Matching is good. I used to match my socks to my shirt back in the 80’s. LOL. Soooo I can sort of relate. Ha! Ha!
Blessings,
Kim

I really like your banner!
I just joined Twitter two days ago and still trying to figure out why I should use it (I like Facebook), but I hear it is so good for blog related stuff. (I am one of your followers)

A lot of informal business deal making goes on. If you want to make a job out of blogging – Twitter will benefit you. You’ll meet people. You can use your followers as a sounding board for new ideas or feedback. You can form business relationships you wouldn’t have otherwise -which could lead to partnering up on projects, etc. Most of what I do on a daily basis… Read more »
Who doesn’t love post-it notes? Love this one and it has totally inspired me to leave the mopping till tomorrow. Not that I needed any encouragement…

It’s important for everything to match if you’re trying to re-establish your presence.
