Haiku #1
Spring forth from earth and dew
Young buds lift your faces to
God and Heaven
Robin’s challenge this month is a Haiku about spring. Spring! Well, that’s easy enough, right? And surely I can pull off a Haiku.. I used to write tons of poetry in high school. Ahhh, but will it be any good? Therein lies the real challenge.
Haiku #2
Rebirth of flora,
Fauna too, New birth of life,
Of love, and of hope.
Haiku #3
Dead brown to living
Green with pink, yellow, red, and
Purple – God’s canvass.

I had a tough time with one and you have three good ones! Wonderful pics to go with your haikus!
Yaaaaaaaaeee! These are great and fit the theme so well, but if I were choosing a favorite, I’d go with Door #1. The reason? Twofold: a) my grandmother called pansies “kitty faces” when I was little. I thought that was their name forever. b) The image of them lifting their faces to heaven reminded me of that.
Also, I love your imagery of budding flowers as God’s canvas; I think of creation as His masterpiece still under construction. His palette of color is unmatched!
Thanks for joining in–you’ve added a smile to my day!
🙂
Those are beautiful!
Oh.. .just makes me close my eyes and breathe in appreciation.
Hey!! I enjoyed the wildflower picture taken on an angle like that
I really like these pictures a lot. The lambs are my favorite. BTW, I like the title of your blog and your post at the top about Finding Beauty in God. I’d like to look over your blog some more. I’m looking for ones I’d like to visit often. I like what I’m reading so far.
