You’ll never believe how easy this is. My parents gave us a lightweight bagless vacuum, the kind where the main of the body is a handvac that detaches, and when together, the handle telescopes out for us adults. It’s not as strong as my big vacuum, yes, but it’s PERFECT for the kids! Check this out: all three of my children WANT to vacuum. They argue over whose turn it is!
Even little Prince enjoys using it. I had pictures of him using it, but being only diaper-clad, I chose not to post them. Perhaps I can take more pictures next time. 🙂
The kids take turns vaccuming each day and I come behind them every few days or so with the big vaccum for good measure. It has really been a big help, and anything that takes a task away from me is a bonus in my book!

- Read reviews about the vacuum I have. Unfortunately, I can’t find any place that sells them!

Great idea! Was the vacuum very expensive? Anything that inspires and motivates my children to help with the housework is tops in my book. 🙂
Thanks for sharing.

I added a link about the vacuum I have, but I can’t find it for sale anywhere. Perhaps ebay? 🙂
If I remember correctly the vacuum was about $40-ish at Wal-Mart.
Since I now have concrete floors, my everyday vacuum is a shark – stick vac. I love it that Trevor is able to vacuum with it! He does the daily vacuum under/around the kitchen table, and I do the whole-house vacuuming! It is great!
