Mostly the Bible and just talking about Christ throughout everything we do.
Bible
We have a Jesse tree activity booklet we’ve used… we read from Scripture, and have some super CDs (music) that really add to the season.
We mostly just use the Bible and I look online for ideas. I really don’t have much in way of resources as of yet. 🙂
not realy have any other than the bible
We have and use Truth in the Tinsel. It is a great devotional for advent.
We’ve been using the Amanda Bennett unit studies for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter
I can’t think of one book we own covering all the holidays throughout the year keeping them Christ-centered. The Bible. Thank you for the chance to win!
The Bible and our Family Advent Devotions book.
Bought Truth is in the Tinsel last year… love it!
I think the most important things to keep Christmas Christ centered are to talk to the kids about what Christmas means, read the Nativity stories from the Gospels and sing religious Christmas carols (although Rudolph, Frosty and friends have a place as fun winter songs!) We love the John Michael Talbot ‘The Birth of Jesus’ album, it has become my kids favorite.
truth in the tinsel is one of our favs
Mostly just being intentional and being sure to follow through with whatever we begin. Last year we went through the names of Jesus and then after Christmas we took a different one each week and learned about it. That took us to Easter 🙂
We use the Bible as well as “What Christmas Means to Me,” a collection of articles by Mary Baker Eddy.
I use Christmas Mosaic. It has a great literature list and activities.
All our CDs of Christmas carols, Handel’s Messiah, etc.
The Jotham’s Journey set of Advent books.
Our Bible and a few storybooks we have.
