I guess I can’t say “I never win anything” anymore. 🙂
Usually it feels like I win something, oh… every five years or so. I have a freind who has won more stuff off the radio that I can count on my fingers. No, really. But that’s not me. That’s not the way my “luck” goes.
But I guess God’s on a roll, cuz I’ve been blessed again! Remember that contest I mentioned a few weeks ago?
The one where all I had to do was write a post about why I wanted to win in order to enter into a contest for a Nintendo DS Lite?
Well, I won! It’s posted! I guess they liked my writing. I always do better with writing than talking in person. It’s more…well, less long winded. 😉
If I could jump up and click my heels together I’d take a picture of it, but I can’t, so let me just tell you that I am tickled pink about my new (pink) Nintendo-thingy! Also, they make all kinds of games for it. It’s something the kids and I can share. I am looking forward to buying them each one for their upcoming birthdays in March and April.
So: Yay! Hallelujah! God is good! Woo-hooo!!! I can’t wait until I get it in the mail. I’ll let you know how “cool” it is when I do. 🙂
Yay you! I so know how you feel about the not winning thing. I think I’ve won prize in my whole life. And that was a gift certificate to a seafood restaurant. And I hate seafood. And my husband is allergic.
