Turkey Day Already?!

I can’t. Believe. Thanksgiving. Is HERE. Three days and counting! Where has 2010 gone?

Y’ALL.

The next month hardly even counts because we all know that it disappears in the blink of an eye.

As usual, I’ve procrastinated to the last minute to gather supplies and ideas for Thanksgiving crafts and lessons. We’re planning on still doing school this week (except Thursday) but it’s all supposed to be Thanksgiving themed for fun and all.

Last year we focused on Indian themed crafts so this year we’ll do pilgrim themed crafts. Things like this Paper Pilgrim Bonnet, and this Paper Pilgrim Hat for boys. We’re also going to prepare a few things for Thanksgiving meal together, including some home made bread. Should be a fun Thanksgiving week!

P.S. If you’ve procrastinated, too, like me and need some Thanksgiving links and resources, check out my Thanksgiving Hub Page. Last week I spent some time going back through my blog and gathering up all the Thanksgiving resources I’ve shared in the past, added a few more, and wrote them all down in one place! Resources for every age, even adults.. Enjoy!

Oh. And before you go and get all relieved because you just found a bunch of Thanksgiving resources to help you pull this off, let me just remind you that Advent begins in just FOUR DAYS.

And now we enter the chaotic season of life… oh wait, what was the last season called?? I love the chaos of this season, though – the focus on family and faith. Enjoy your time together!
