Terror By Night” is a true story.

A real life “Job” story, Terry Caffey shares what it was like surviving the gruesome murder of his family, escaping his burning home, and enduring the many months of rehabilitation and pain as his 16 year old daughter waited in jail, accused of masterminding the whole thing.

But this story is more than that. It’s more than just a recounting of the horrible events that occurred in the middle of the night in that small Texas town. It’s more than just sharing his side of events that media may have skewed. “Terror By Night” is a testimony of God’s goodness, sovereignty and faithfulness in the middle of a situation that would cause some to ask, “WHERE WAS GOD IN ALL OF THIS?”

Terry’s story brought me to tears more than once. Often because I felt for his pain and his loss. Often because my heart ached at the thought of losing my own family. Sometimes at the incredible way that God moved in his life and made Himself undeniably known: “HERE I AM.”

“Terror by Night” will also challenge the way you think about forgiveness… unconditional, forgiveness.. and unconditional love. And if you’re paying attention, it will also challenge you to think about the way you’re living (or not living) your life for God. Do you really KNOW Him? Are you just giving lip-service? Are you just going through the motions?

Terry’s story is available free for Kindle right now. I hadn’t planned to read it, it didn’t stand out to me. But then my mom said to me, “You have to read this story.” I don’t like being told what to read… but I did it. And it touched me.

And now I’m telling you… “You have to read this story.”

“God is good, all the time. All the time, God is good.”

Hey, y’all! I’m Amber and I wear many hats. I drink a ton of coffee and I’m constantly sweeping crumbs off the floor. After 18 years of homeschooling, I’m getting close to graduating my third child and now we are starting over at preschool with our fourth, Lil Miss Mouse. She keeps us young and she’s the main reason for my excessive coffee consumption. Drink up!
